Funeral + End of Life Photography

Gentle, unobtrusive photography when your family needs it most.

Based in Northeast Victoria, available worldwide

Grief is never easy, and photos are often the last thing on your mind. I'm here to help.

My role is to be your eyes when you are blinded by grief. I document the tender moments, the service, and the gathered. Quiet and respectful photography gives your family a way to remember those who attended, the connections shared, and the moments you may have missed in the blur of difficult times.

"We were so grateful to have Bree take photos at the funeral and wake, for my dear husband, Gary. Often at funerals, especially with live streaming, you don't get a complete picture of the day, of its depth, and of unique moments shared with dear family and friends. So it was wonderful that Bree was able to do take photos for us without us having to think about it.

Thank you Bree for creating a special tribute that conveys how we wished to honour Gary's life xx"

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you photograph funerals and end of life?

Being invited into these deeply personal moments is very meaningful for me. I often hear from clients who wish they had photos of their mum before she passed, or of their sister’s funeral. While it’s not yet common in our culture, recording grief with the same care we give to joy can be incredibly valuable for the people left behind.

How discreet are you during the service?

Very. I move slowly and carefully, avoid flash, and stay as invisible as possible so your family can stay present.

Can you come at short notice?

Absolutely. End of life situations and funerals are often sudden, and I understand that plans come together fast. I’ll do everything I can to shift my schedule and be there when you need me.

How long does it take to receive the photos?

You’ll receive a handful of key images within 2 days and the remainder of the collection within 14 days. If you need something sooner, just let me know.

Do you use flash?

Not unless absolutely necessary, and if so it's kept to a strict minimum. My first priority is the comfort of everyone in attendance.

How do we book you?

The quickest way to reach me is to text/call on 0459 705 827. You can also email me at bree@lovelyphotography.com.au

Once we've discussed your needs, a simple agreement and 50% deposit secures your coverage. Payment plans available.

"She captured the essence of the day so beautifully, in images that were sensitively created and entirely 'un staged'. Bree was also so discrete - her presence was subtle and respectful, which was enormously appreciated on a day of mourning."
